Arsenal Hosts Manchester City In Primetime EPL Week 17 Match

Week 17 of the English Premier League will be highlighted by Arsenal and Manchester City, as the top two teams in the table will square off at Emirates Stadium on Monday, December 21st. Heading into the matchup, Arsenal leads Manchester City by one point through 16 games played.

Arsenal (10-3-3) is one of the league’s best defensive teams with only 13 goals allowed this season (Manchester United in first with 12 goals allowed), but not many teams have the offensive firepower that City brings to the match, as they’re tied for the top spot in the EPL in goals scored with 32 (tied with Leicester City).

The Gunners haven’t lost a match since November 21st against West Brom and are on a two-game winning streak after dispatching Sunderland at home and Aston Villa on the road. Manchester City is 2-2 in their last four matches, defeating Swansea and Southampton while losing to Liverpool and Stoke.

Manchester United is currently in fourth in the table and hosts Norwich City, so they have an excellent chance to keep pace with the top teams in the league. Leicester City, currently in third, has to play Everton on the road.

Of the aforementioned top four teams in the EPL, tickets to Leicester City’s match against Everton at Goodison Park are the most expensive with tickets starting at $230 according to Ticketbis.com.
