VIDEO: Gyasi Zardes puts USMNT up 1-0 on Bolivia

In the United States men’s national team’s final tune up before the Copa America Centenario starting next week it was widely believed the vast majority of starters would see the field. One name on that starting XI was Gyasi Zardes up front alongside Bobby Wood and Clint Dempsey.

After an uneventful first 25 minutes, Zardes and the American attack finally picked apart a compact Bolivian midfield. One quick pass from Jermaine Jones saw Zardes free towards the net. He met the ball just before the Bolivian goalkeeper could get to it at the top of the box for a purely magical goal all around.

Most importantly it was a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute of action for the USMNT.
