VIDEO: Bournemouth’s Matt Ritchie defies physics with this spellbinding volley

Oh Matt Ritchie, what a goal that was that you just scored. The Bournemouth man took the free kick, chested it to himself and volleyed the ball with an incredible curve to put the Cherries up 2-0 on Sunderland after just the first 10 minutes.

That was the goal, you can’t possibly get a better goal than that. Certainly goal of the week material and a nice change of pace from a team who just promoted to the Premier League. This team isn’t afraid to attack, even when their opponents may be better than them. Although that kind of doesn’t apply here, Bournemouth is playing Sunderland. Bournemouth is probably the better team today.
