WATCH: Alexis Sanchez’s chip puts Arsenal ahead in Champions League

Against Ludogorets, Arsenal was regarded as heavy favorites at the Emirates. And as predicted, Arsenal wasted no time to get the domination started against their Bulgarian opponents.

In the 12th minute, Alexis Sanchez got behind the Ludogorets back line and found himself open and in on goal. After a couple moves to try and find space, he took advantage of goalkeeper Vladislav Stoyanov deciding whether or not to go for the ball or stay in goal and chipped the ball into the back of the net.

Stoyanov didn’t come out all that much, so the placement of this shot was very important. There isn’t much margin of error but Sanchez placed it beautifully and put Arsenal up 1-0 early.
