WATCH: Kevin de Bruyne’s free kick goes under the wall to score for Manchester City

A free kick that’s kicked on the ground is very rare. Like a panenka on a penalty kick, it looks beautiful when it’s done right and looks horrific if it doesn’t. For Manchester City, his choice of shooting underneath the Bournemouth wall worked. And as the players jumped, the ball trickled into the back of the net and put Manchester City into the lead.

Manchester City scored a second goal on a terrific counterattack involving De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Kelechi Iheanacho.
