8. Manchester United 5-0 Manchester City – November 10, 1994

17 years before losing to Man City, Manchester United trashed City 5-0 on a beautiful performance. There wasn’t much more to say about the game. City didn’t have an answer for anything United had and it could’ve been an even bigger score.

 

7. Manchester City 2-3 Manchester United – December 9, 2012

This was like a heavyweight fight. After being down 2-0, Manchester City came back in the 2nd half to tie it up at 2-2 in the 86th minute. In typical Man United fashion, Robin van Persie delivered the knockout blow in “Fergie Time.” The game helped Man U easily win the Premier League and send Sir Alex off into retirement as a champion.

 

6. Manchester City 5-1 Manchester United – September 23, 1989

Known as the “Maine Road Massacre,” this game had some of the best looking goals out there. Diving headers, bicycle kicks and flawless one-touch crosses. Simply stunning stuff and it was a shock ending for everyone involved.
