This game should be very interesting for both squads. The US is coming off a successful run into the knockout stage of the World Cup while the Czechs are looking to find form so that they can qualify for Euro 2016.

Jurgen Klinsmann is going with a young squad for this game calling up a number of players with few or no appearances under their belt. He is doing this to give his veterans a break after their long summer and also to see who can step up during this qualifying cycle for Russia 2018.The players on the roster that have the most experience are the goalkeepers. This is their time to show the coach what they can do in the absence of the ever present Tim Howard. Look for the youngsters to play with confidence as the pressure of a competitive game isn’t there after all it’s a friendly.

The Czech Republic goes into this game coming off a summer of watching the World Cup from home. Their roster contains a mix of the old guard as well as some young talent looking to break through. Their main task in this game is to get ready for their euro qualifiers coming up. They do not want to miss out on two major tournaments in a row. The veterans like Petr Cech and Tomas Rosicky will lead by example and show the rest of the team how to lead by example.

Look for this game to full of action as the youngsters on the US squad look to impress in this opportunity. While the Czechs will look to also play well in front of their home fans and get a good result to head in to qualifying with. Overall this game will be up and down but with the lack of game experience for the US squad could make it a difficult task to leave Prague with a result. Home team should get the result but don’t be surprised if the young Americans turn a few heads.

Prediction: USA 1 – Czech Republic 2
