VIDEO: If at first you don’t succeed… Giroud gets first goal of three needed for Arsenal to advance in Champions League

If at first you don’t succeed, try try again. That’s exactly what Olivier Giroud did to get Arsenal their first goal of the day and put them at 3-2 against Monaco in the UEFA Champions League. Arsenal needs two more goals to advance past Monaco.

In this goal, Giroud got his shot blocked by Danijel Subasic. The ball bounced off of Giroud’s face. Giroud spun around and noticed that he still had the ball and struck it in to get the goal. Great sequence of not giving up there.
