To make matters even worse, Robin van Persie was credited with the assist. So that clearly makes it 100% certain that the assistant referee made a mistake and should’ve called offside. That’s the way it is sometimes. As much as we want referees to be perfect, they’re human like all of us. There’s no point for Liverpool and Liverpool’s fans to dwell on it.
