VIDEO: QPR’s Joey Barton sees RED for “under the belt” slap

When will Joey Barton learn? The troublesome QPR midfielder has seen red once again for slapping Hull City’s Tom Huddlestone “below the belt” after a skirmish between players during the game.

After the red card was given, Barton gave a wave of apology but the damage was done. Barton extended his EPL record 8th straight game with a card in stunning fashion and has possibly cost QPR critical points to remain in the EPL.

We can’t forget that this has happened before. Barton went into Sergio Aguero in the final game of the 2011-12 season and got a straight red. That would’ve sent QPR down if it wasn’t for Bolton losing as well. Seeing the video below, it’s also pretty bad when Mario Balotelli is trying to be the voice of reason to Joey Barton. That’s saying something.
