VIDEO: Raheem Sterling is BACK, quick goal puts Liverpool up early

Raheem Sterling has had a bit of a dry spell putting the ball in the back of the net. Sterling hasn’t scored for Liverpool since February 22 when they beat Southampton 2-0. That was eight games and what seemed like an eternity ago. Sterling’s “will he or won’t he sign a new Liverpool contract” has been the talk of the media and could be argued as a distraction for Sterling. If that’s the case, Sterling forgot all about that when he connected this quick, accurate and flawless shot to give Liverpool the lead 1-0 early in the game.

This is an important game for Liverpool. If Liverpool wins, they get to move to 5th and be within four points of Manchester City for 4th. If Liverpool keeps up the play as well as Coutinho’s brilliant passing, Pool may be back.
