2. Bert Trautmann
Bert Trautmann was one of the greatest goalkeepers in history. His most notable moment was when he got injured during the 1956 FA Cup Final. He didn’t think nothing of it and continued to play and helped Man City win the FA Cup. X-Ray’s showed afterwards that he had 5 dislocated vertebrae. I can’t imagine the pain that’s involved in a broken neck but Trautmann won the FA Cup with one.
1. Colin Bell
Colin Bell is another top goalscorer with Manchester City. Technically a midfielder, Bell scored 153 goals and won the 1968 First Division title as well as two League Cups and the 1969 FA Cup. He gets the #1 spot because he’s the kind of player who not only gets a team going on the field with his never ending stamina but his energetic style helped the team off the field too.
