The first half didn’t see a lot of attacking opportunities inside the Czech Republic, but thanks to an awkward pass from Petr Czech to the midfield and timely play by Mix Diskerud the United States got a major opportunity. Diskerud’s shot was saved, only to see Alejandro Bedoya knock home the rebound.
