WATCH: Diego Costa makes Arsenal pay for Red Card

Diego Costa has been a thorn in the side of London-rival Arsenal ever since arriving at Chelsea. He did it again on Sunday, following up a masterful run that earned a foul and a red card against Per Mertesacker with the strike that pulled Chelsea ahead.

Some may question the red card, but it appeared Costa was in on the goal. No matter, because an extra man would’ve done little to stave off a brilliant cross, run and flick as Costa netted his eighth goal for the Blues in English Premier League action.

Costa was the target of a cross from the left that was blocked and eventually switched. That’s where the magic happened, as not one, but two Arsenal defenders let Costa loose inside the six-yard box and this is what resulted:
