With Arsenal up 1-0 against Aston Villa in the FA Cup Final, Chilean striker Alexis Sánchez treated Wembley Stadium to a magnificent goal from about 30 yards out that beat Aston Villa keeper Shay Given.
Sánchez dribbled past Aston Villa’s defense and ripped a shot that found its way past goalkeeper Given and impacted the bottom of the crossbar to go in for the 2-0 Arsenal lead.
Arsenal would go on to have a game and score two more goals after the wonder strike from Sánchez. They would go on to win the game 4-0 on their way to winning their second consecutive FA Cup title and their 12th in team history.
Alexis Sánchez finished the year with 16 goals in the Premier League, five in both English Cups (one goal in the Capital One Cup, and four in the FA Cup), and four in Champions League play. This brings his total goals scored in the 2014-15 season to 25 goals, in which he finished as Arsenal’s top goalscorer.
