Today, tiny Gibraltar played reigning world champs Germany. They got beat pretty badly, 7-0, but it would have been a lot worse had it not been for some amazing goalkeeping from Goalkeeper Jordan Perez.
FYI — Jordan Perez’s works as a firefighter for Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service. Here’s to Jordan Perez, the fireman, taking the field against the world’s best and absolutely holding his own. Was his performance perfect? Not really, but he has a pretty amazing highlight reel, as seen below.
Perez has seen interest from League Two side Wycombe Wanderers a few months back. Performances such as this should see his stock rise even further.
