Don’t worry, Sporting Kansas City didn’t splash $5 million just to launch their new secondary (away) kit. But they did take the prime moment to launch their new kit in a local commercial in the Sporting KC area, during halftime of Super Bowl 50.

Sporting KC has had a history since their rebrand from the Wizards to have some of the best looking kits in MLS and they didn’t disappoint here. And by launching the kit during the Super Bowl, with all of Kansas City watching, it’s a great form of marketing that no other MLS team has done yet.
