If Harry Kane wasn’t a Spurs legend before today, he is now. The local boy lived out his childhood dream today to compete in the North London Derby for his childhood team. He also willed the team to come back from a goal down to score a brace and win the 175th version 2-1.
His game winner was the clutch stuff of legend and resulted in a place in North London Derby lore. He gravitated the header into the top left corner of the goal, completely dumbfounding Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina to win the game and put Spurs currently in a Champions League spot.
With a 23-7 and 56-44 possession advantage from Tottenham, they had the upper hand. Especially in the second half, they were firing from all angles against Ospina and really looked like a team not designed to hold the lead. Spurs now is in the thick of it for the Champions League and they did it over their rival. Looks like a great day to be a Spurs fan.
