During every week of the English Premier League, we will provide an EPL fantasy preview the day before the start of the games as well as a recap the day after. Feel free to use this as a guide to make those last minute roster moves or to avoid who we pick as you make your team.
Week 3 is here. Teams are now beginning to separate from each other so it’s now a big week for everyone depending on where you stand. If you’re near the top, it’s a weekend to maintain and strengthen that lead. If you’re near the bottom, it’s a weekend where you have to try some things to catch up before it gets worse.

Mark is keeping things the same this week. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it is the motto here.

Jeff used his wildcard and made some fine changes to his lineup. After moving up from close to the worst to being in the top half of the field, this is to try to get into the top ten.

Josh hasn’t made many changes to his lineup and didn’t make any transfers. Seems pretty satisfied with his lineup.
4) Evan – T34th place (-10 positions) – 35 points this week – 70 points total

Transfers: Neil Taylor for Branislav Ivanovic
Evan is keeping things mostly status quo right now. Having Jordan Henderson as captain poses as a risk since Liverpool is struggling to score and Liverpool is going against Arsenal but that may change.

GK – Joe Hart – Manchester City
DEF – Branislav Ivanovic – Chelsea

MID – Roberto Firmino – Liverpool
FW – Troy Deeney – Watford
FW – Saido Bernahino – West Brom
FW – Harry Kane – Tottenham
Transfers: Chris Smalling for Daryl Janmaat
Dipping into the Manchester United defender pool, Andy is calling up Chris Smalling to start in hopes of a third clean sheet in a row.
6) Josh E. – 38th place (+3 positions) – 40 points this week – 68 points total
GK – Joe Hart – Manchester City
DEF – Vincent Kompany – Manchester City

Josh is making a couple moves namely by taking out the struggling John Terry for Vincent Kompany. Hopefully for Josh, Kompany continues his run.

Transfers: Simon Mignolet for Thibaut Courtois, Sergio Romero for Adrian, Aleksandar Kolarov for Joleon Lescott, Vincent Kompany for Branislav Ivanovic, Luke Shaw for John Terry, Riyad Mahrez for Philippe Coutinho, Marc Albrighton for Santi Cazorla, Andre Ayew for Jason Puncheon, Ross Barkley for Jack Colback, Bafetimbi Gomis for Graziano Pelle, Sergio Aguero for Aleksandar Mitrovic and Olivier Giroud for Harry Kane. (Obviously) Used wildcard.
Being in last place, I have to do something and something big. Only two players remained on the team (Phil Jagielka and Eric Dier) and this weeks starting XI is completely new. I can’t really do any worse than the last two weeks so here’s the new, and hopefully improved, lineup. More than likely, you may want to pick up everyone who I dropped because with my luck, they’re getting huge points this weekend.
