The Marina Dalglish Appeal is a charity formed by Marina Dalglish to help raise money for people suffering from cancer in the Merseyside area. The charity has been in existence since 2005 after Marina was treated for breast cancer. It’s unclear whether or not there were more things auctioned off for the charity, but it’s clear that if there were, this medal was the most popular item of the night.

This seems like a perfect situation for all involved. A lot of people will be getting help thanks to the Dalglish’s generosity and someone got to buy a piece of history.
