At the very end of the game in Columbus, Ohio the Mexican National Team secured three points against the USMNT. The USMNT had a good second half but it wasn’t enough as Mexico grabbed a late winner following a corner in the 89th minute.
Rafael Marquez ran to the near post and flicked the ball past Brad Guzan. It was a disappointing finish for the US as they did well to adjust to a strong Mexico first half, but the late set piece will leave Jürgen Klinsmann with a sour taste in his mouth.
