Steven Naismith knows what it is like to score against Liverpool. Before signing on with Norwich City, he played with Everton and contested many Merseyside Derbys against Liverpool. In fact, Naismith’s first goal with Everton was against the Reds.
It is only fitting that Naismith’s first goal with Norwich City was against — you guessed it — Liverpool. After Norwich leveled things with Mbokani’s goal, Wes Hoolihan fed a nice pass to Naismith as he made a run into the box and, once he controlled the ball, delivered a killer shot that found the far post and went in for the Canaries’ lead.
