VIDEO: Charlie Austin subs in, scores goal

Charlie Austin, the man who was acquired by Southampton for £4 million, saw his first minutes for his new club. He subbed in for Sadio Mane and came into the game in the 79th minute.

It wasn’t enough that he saw his first action as a member of Southampton, but he also managed to score his first goal for his new team and it proved to be the game winner against Manchester United.

Take a look as Charlie Austin heads in his first ever goal for the Saints and helped them achieve victory over Manchester United in the dying moments of the game:

At a bargain price of only £4 million, Southampton must be delighted to see their new player score a goal of this magnitude. Maybe he earned himself a spot in the starting XI for next game? We will have to see.
