In the 60th minute, Mousa Dembele gave Spurs the 2-1 lead with a nice goal to beat the outstretched Jordan Pickford.
It started with Harry Kane, who seemed to make something out of nothing, as he took a shot that Pickford had to parry away that led to a Spurs corner. From that corner, the play developed when Danny Rose took a shot that was stopped by Pickford.
The ball rebounded off his gloves and found Mousa Dembele near the top of the box and from there he made a spectacular cut and took a shot that managed to beat a sprawling Sunderland keeper.

Spurs were not content with their one-goal lead as they went in for the kill with Christian Eriksen scoring his second of the game. A great individual effort by Eriksen, he boldly took a shot from outside the box towards goal. However, the ball rebounded off a Sunderland defender and found its way just inside the upper 90 for an amazing goal. See for yourself:
