It started with the saying “Jamie Vardy is having a party” during Vardy’s record goal scoring run in the first half of the Premier League season. It then became “Jamie Vardy is having an international party” when Vardy started scoring goals for England.
Whether it was pizza parties after clean sheets, the clubs owners giving away free beer to fans, or when Jamie Vardy threw literally the most famous house party in England when the entire Leicester squad gathered at his house to watch the Chelsea vs. Tottenham match that wound up winning them the league. Somehow someway Leicester City became the team in England that parties.
There was no pizza party following Leicester’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea on the final day of the season. Instead the team was invited to dinner with the Chairman of the club.
Given the party atmosphere that has surrounded Leicester all season, it should come as no surprise that dinner with a Thai billionaire featured lots of booze.
After a fantastic season that included making his England debut back in March, it was no surprise that Drinkwater was part of Roy Hodsgon’s Euro 2016 squad. Hodgson made the announcement the day after the Premier League season, so when Drinkwater was asked where he was when he found out that he was part of the team, his answer was not all that surprising given Leicester’s reputation.

Perhaps drinking some water will help Danny feel better today.
