This isn’t your old-school Watford club in the EPL folks, as the last time Liverpool and Watford got together the season series ended 5-0 in total to the Reds. It has taken just 16 minutes for it to be 2-0 Watford at Vicarage Road.
Following a howler from goalkeeper Adam Bogdan in the 3rd minute, it was the defense blundering their way to leaving their goalkeeper out to dry.
As the two teams battled for possession in the middle of the pitch, Watford’s Troy Deeney found a bit of space and hit a first-time release to Odion Ighalo. The young sniper was off to the races against veteran Martin Skirtel for Liverpool.
It appeared Skrtel would have position and be able to physically outdo Ighalo. However, the wonder season for Ighalo continued, as he took one touch and volleyed home a bouncing shot to the opposite post.

Odion Ighalo has now been directly involved in 65% of Watford's Premier League goals this season (11G, 2A)
