WATCH: Shaqiri gets brace in spectacular fashion

Xherdan Shaqiri, the goal scorer? Coming in to Monday’s match the Stoke midfielder was more about assisting (3) than scoring (0). That all changed, as the Swiss midfielder gave the Potters a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute.

However, he wasn’t done with the scoring and his brace came in spectacular fashion. Shaqiri got on the end of a massive long ball and managed a half-volley that also scooped over and down just past Everton’s Tim Howard.

It gave Stoke City a 2-1 lead at the half and perhaps a contender for Goal of the Year.
