WATCH: Portland’s Diego Valeri scoers 30 seconds in to MLS Cup Final

Columbus goalkeeper Steve Clark is a very good player with the ball at his feet, but in the first minute of the 2015 MLS Cup final he was made to pay for his over confidence in his footwork.

Portland forward Diego Valeri got the memo to pressure the keeper and Clark’s non-chalant handling of a pass back to him cost him dearly. Valeri got in front of Clark’s switch from his right to his left and the deflection went straight in to the back of his net.
