Watch: Jakub Błaszczykowski curls in a beautiful shot to give Poland 1-0 lead

Jakub Błaszczykowski compounded Ukraine’s misery in Euro 2016 with a terrific second half strike that game Poland a 1-0 lead over Ukraine.

This match means much more for Poland that it does for Ukraine who have already been eliminated coming into today. Poland who is battling with Germany for the top spot in group C waited until the second half to open the scoring.

A short corner was taken before playing the ball into Błaszczykowski who rounded a defender and curled a ball around the keeper who was caught flat-footed. It was a wonderful finish, but Poland still needs a few more goals if they want to overtake Germany on goal difference.
