England need Italy to defeat Costa Rica today or else their World Cup is over. So Lineker was going all out on television today in the UK…

Even if Italy does the job today, England will need them to do the same against Uruguay while they beat Costa Rica. It’s not impossible, but it’s certainly a very unlikely series of circumstances. Maybe Lineker’s Italy shirt will bring a little good luck today, Lord knows England is due.
