While Hugo Lloris couldn’t be bothered to make a save on Demba Ba’s penalty shot, Lloris kept his squad firmly in the game with some major saves.
He made two big time saves in each half, but one stood out above the rest in the 1-1 tie between Tottenham Hotspur and turkish side Besiktas. In the second half, Lloris was challenge by Ba, the former Newcastle striker, but managed to make a completely reflexive save from just a foot or so away.
Spurs would’ve been in some deep trouble without their active and athletic goalkeeper in the nets.
