Arsenal would love to top its group, and in order to do so it needed a Herculean effort. Six goals down in goal differential and needing Borussia Dortmund to be drawn by Anderlecht certainly seemed to be asking for a lot.
However, just 28 minutes in to the match and Arsenal were up 3-0 thanks to a brace from Aaron Ramsey.
