Former Liverpool and current Palace defender Martin Kelly believed at restaurant attacked in Paris UPDATE: “Is safe and well”

The Liverpool Echo reports that Martin Kelly, former Liverpool and current Crystal Palace defender, is believed to have been in one of the restaurants that was under attack in Paris tonight.

Earlier tonight, Kelly posted a pic on Instagram about having dinner at the Cafe la Perle, believed to be one of the restaurants attacked, about an hour before the attack.

As of 8:00 PM ET, Kelly has not posted on any form of social media since. Fans have been posting comments hoping he is okay.

Martin Kelly started his career at Liverpool where he had 33 caps in seven years as a defender who mostly came off the bench. In 2014, he went to Crystal Palace where he has 39 caps and currently plays for them. Kelly also has one cap on the English National Team.
