Everton’s FA Cup game against Dagenham & Redbridge had to be stopped momentarily because a cat ran onto the field. After being approached by Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles, the cat ran off the field and play continued.
The Merseyside are has had its share of cats running onto the field. A few years ago, a cat ran out onto the field at a Liverpool game against Tottenham, prompting the nickname “Anfield Cat.”

Now, its protege seems to be hanging out just a mile away on the blue side of Merseyside.
The game is on hold due to a cat being on the pitch. Joel Robles asks it to politely move… and it does. Game on! #EFCvDAG
