Portugal faced Armenia and although Portugal should’ve cleaned Armenia’s clock, Armenia gave them a pretty good game. Armenia even took the lead early in the game with a stunning free kick goal from distance and had more possession than Portugal. Alas, the one thing Armenia didn’t have was one of the best players in the world. He, unfortunately for Armenia, plays for Portugal.
Cristiano Ronaldo had to score a hat trick to pull out the 3-2 win over Armenia. His masterpiece of the day was in his third goal. Simply typical of Ronaldo, just scoring beautiful goals.
