Now that he has been retired from his playing career for several years, David Beckham has kept himself busy. Whether it’s building up his own MLS team, developing his own whiskey or playing pool to sell jeans, Beckham is all over the landscape. Now Beckham can add something else to his repertoire, riding motorcycles to apparently market leather jackets in short films.
Beckham stars in a short film called Outlaws for the leather jacket brand Belstaff and according to the YouTube description of the trailer, Beckham plays the role as The Stranger, “a mysterious drifter and motorcycle stuntman.” The trailer makes it look like this will be part American Horror Story, part Rebel Without a Cause and part Grindhouse. I don’t know about you but I kind of had Lisa’s reaction (in the video below) when I saw the Outlaws trailer. I still don’t get what’s going on.
Anyway, apparently the full length short film will release September 22. Maybe this is Beckham’s way of dipping his toes into the waters of acting. We’ve heard the James Bond rumors.
