When a left back is masking like a central midfielder, steals the ball like you’re standing still and scores a terrific goal from outside the box to put you down 3-0, it’s just not your day. This is what happened to Arsenal as Bayern Munich’s left back David Alaba scored this beauty right before halftime.

Arsenal kind of needed to win this game. They aren’t out of it as of yet but as of halftime, Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos are leading Arsenal for the 2nd spot in the group, three points ahead. Zagreb is currently up 1-0 on Olympiakos. Arsenal would likely need to win both of their final games to have a chance to qualify for the knockout stage.
