VIDEO: Norway’s Beautiful Free Kick Opens Scoring Against Thailand

Day 2 of the Women’s World Cup kicked off in terrific fashion for Norway. They played the first game of the day against Thailand and got on the board early thanks to captain Trine Ronning’s free kick in the 15th minute. Norway took the lead 1-0 because of the free kick.

The kick was simply flawless. Ronning’s free kick was on point, dipped perfectly and was in the only spot in which it could go in. You can’t really score a free kick any better than that.
