The Mexico fans at the Rose Bowl are ecstatic as they see their team and their country take the lead in extra time over the USMNT in the CONCACAF Cup. Oribe Peralta one timed the pinpoint pass and may have done enough to shut down the United States once and for all.
Peralta stayed behind as Paul Aguilar got behind the USMNT backline. Seeing Peralta hanging back alone in the box, Aguilar passed it back to him and Peralta finished it off. Not much Brad Guzan could’ve done about that. 2-1 Mexico.
