VIDEO: Supersub Naismith scores twice against Chelsea in first 22 minutes, Matic counters with golazo

Well, who saw this coming?

Chelsea were immediately given some bad news after Steven Naismith came on as a sub for Muhamed Besic in the 9th minute. After that, Naismith really turned it on and scored twice in a span of five minutes as Chelsea was left scrambling. Between then and the half, Nemanja Matic scored a very beautiful goal but was still down 1-0.

This was Naismith’s first goal. A nice header from Brendon Galloway put Everton up 1-0.

Naismith’s second goal of the day was this sneaky great strike from outside the box. After receiving the pass from Ross Barkley, Naismith got a bit of pace on the ball but kept it rolling on the ground to loop around Asmir Begovic and be up 2-0.

The half ended with Nemanja Matic scoring this beauty from about 25 yards out. Really a goal like this should count double and Chelsea be tied but that’s not how the game is played. Chelsea still needs a goal to get even.
