WATCH: Daniel Sturridge with the outside of his foot, puts Liverpool up 1-0 in Europa League Final

The UEFA Europa League Final saw some twists and turns with neither team really getting an edge early on. Not that either team struggled but it was more a midfield siege that neither team was willing to concede.

In a split second, that changed thanks to Daniel Sturridge. As though he was casually walking with the ball at the top of the box, Sturridge unleashed a hellacious strike with the outside of his foot to put Liverpool into the lead.

While Liverpool is in the lead, the game definitely isn’t over. Sevilla fell behind last year and still won the Europa League. It’s anybody’s game.
