WATCH: Hull City scores first Premier League goal off of a bicycle kick

Of all the things to happen to start the 2016-17 Premier League season, I was not expecting who is widely considered going to finish last this year, score the first goal off a bicycle kick against the defending champs. It appeared that after Leicester’s Kasper Schmeichel made a terrific save, Abel Hernandez connected with the bicycle kick to put Hull City up 1-0 right before halftime.

For the record, Abel Hernandez got the bicycle kick but the goal was credited to Adama Diomande with Hernancez getting the assist. To be fair, the two players seemed to make contact at the same time so the goal could’ve been given to either. But it certainly gives Hull fans a bit of good news as they protest against the ownership.
