Irish team will give a free season ticket for playing new Football Manager game

Football Manager 2016 is out today and many people who “talk the talk” when they say they can manage a team better than (insert manager’s name here) will be trying to “walk the walk” in a fantasy sense. One Irish club team wants to make sure someone gets rewarded for managing their team to the top.

Cabinteely FC, an Irish team from Dublin, is currently the last place team in the first, and lowest division in Irish soccer. Cabinteely announced that they are offering a free season ticket to the first person who can promote to the Irish Premier Division and win the League with Cabinteely. The first person who emails a screenshot of Cabinteely winning the Premier Division will get the ticket.

As far as promotions go, this is a pretty cool promotion and is getting some great worldwide PR as well. Admit it, how many Irish teams can you name? Maybe you can guess one or two Premier Division teams if you’ve played FIFA and come across the Irish Premier Division teams as you skip over them to play as Barcelona for the umpteenth time. Now we know who Cabinteely is thanks to this bit of marketing.
