Hershey, PA Teen Signs for Borussia Dortmund

United States u-17 star Christian Pulisic will be signing for Borussia Dortmund as soon as the necessary paperwork is filed and rubber stamped. In an interview with the Patriot News, Pulisic discussed the upcoming move, his excitement for the “new challenge”. Pulisic, who is a forward and rated the #1 soccer talent in Pennsylvania, will be familiar to anybody who follows the US Men’s National Youth teams and made quite a splash in their April 6th game again Bosnia-Herzegovina, where he grabbed two goals.

Pulisic’s inclusion in the U-17 team is even more impressive when you take into account that he is only 15. This isn’t even the first time that Pulisic has been watched by a large European club, having been invited to train with Chelsea, Porto, PSV Eindhoven, and Barcelona. Some sports writers are already tipping him to make the 2018 US Men’s National Team World Cup squad if he continues to progress as he is expected to. This move to Borussia Dortmund will only intensify these predictions. Dortmund, under highly-rated manger Jürgen Klopp, have a great academy and a great track record for producing talent from within their own ranks. They also play a high intensity, highly technical style of play that will suit the USMNT. One can only hope that under the guidance of one of the world soccer’s best managers, and in a system that is built to get the best out of it’s academy, this won’t be the last time we’ll be hearing about Christian Pulisic.
