VIDEO: Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic dominating with his goal against Sunderland

Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic has had a stunning first half today against Sunderland. He started off by attacking right at the whistle. He got taken down and definitely looked like a penalty but it wasn’t called by the referee.

Then a few minutes later, Markovic comes back and in a scrappy effort, gets Liverpool’s first goal of the day and his first EPL goal of the season.

The action didn’t end as Markovic ripped a side footed shot that bounced off the post.

That could’ve been a goal of the season candidate if that had went in. Markovic has had a cracker of a game so far. It’s definitely the best anyone has seen him play while in a Liverpool jersey. As of halftime, Liverpool has dominated but only scored once. They may pay by not scoring more in the first half.
