Okay, let’s rewind a bit. At the end of the game, a boy went up to French midfielder Paul Pogba asking him for his jersey. Pogba gestures that he has apparently promised his jersey to someone else, likely to an opposing player so he offers the next best thing. Pogba drops his shorts (he has compression shorts on) and offers the shorts to the boy. The boy decides a pair of shorts, which has been game worn for 90 minutes isn’t that much of an enticing offer, decides to leave with Pogba holding his shorts. Definitely a strange sequence of events but at least the kid has a story to tell.
