VIDEO: Goalkeeper scores equalizer in stoppage time

There’s nothing more exciting in soccer than when a goalkeeper runs up to attack in a last ditch effort to score, well unless you’re rooting for the team they’re attacking against. We’re off to the Bundesliga as Augsburg took on Bayer Leverkusen. This big matchup was huge for Champions League and Europa League implications as both teams were 5th and 6th. Goalkeeper Marwin Hitz of Augsburg ran up to the other side of the field to try and score off a corner kick. When the kick didn’t land, Hitz stayed up there just in case. After some intuition to get ahead on the play, a Leverkusen player mis hit the ball and went right to Hitz. Hitz then turned and converted and sealed the draw for Augsburg.
