VIDEO: Simon Mignolet SAVES draw for Liverpool in Merseyside Derby

While it was a 0-0 draw in the 224th Merseyside Derby, this game went back and forth. Liverpool had some great opportunities in the first half with the best being a Jordon Ibe shot that went off the post.

In the second half and closer to the end of the game, Everton picked it up and after a skirmish between the teams, both teams were on it. Seamus Coleman was wide open on the opposite end of the field. He takes the shot and Simon Mignolet made a colossal save to keep Liverpool even and to at least leave Goodison Park with a point. This is Mignolet’s fourth consecutive clean sheet and has no doubt shaken off those criticisms he had received in the beginning of the season.
