Manchester City never quit in this game. During a time when both teams were near the top of English soccer, City fell behind twice and had to come back from 2-0 down and then down 3-2 to earn the draw and make it 3-3.
9. Manchester United 1-6 Manchester City – October 23, 2011
This was the blowout that set the stage early, leading into the epic end of the season. Keep in mind, this isn’t when either team was struggling. The season ended with both teams tied for 1st place in the incredible last second end to the season. The game didn’t get real bad until about 20 minutes to go in the game. It was 2-0 in the 68th and that was a very achievable comeback. Once it hit 3-0, the floodgates opened.
